Our journey to create Howdy Solutions started around a service van, where our founder Mike was juggling emergency plumbing calls while trying to grow his small business. As a master plumber with over 15 years of experience, Mike understood the frustration of missing potential customers because he was elbow-deep in a pipe repair. "Every missed call meant lost business," Mike would tell us, "but I couldn't be in two places at once."

Mike brought this up in a random converstion with his two software engineer neighbors Jason and Daniel. They both had been working for enterprise software companies for years. The three discovered a shared interest for solving problems as friends and colleagues.

"What if we could create a voice assistant that could help answer phones?" Jason proposed one evening. "Something that could intelligently handle inbound calls while you're on a job site?"

As software engineers with backgrounds in building rock solid sofware, Jason and Daniel recognized the perfect opportunity to apply cutting-edge AI to solve a tangible problem.
